About Us
 Izmir Folk Dances Youth and Sport Club which was established on the bases of love, respect, friendship, brotherhood and tolerance was also founded in order to search thoroughly the rich cultural values of our country the illuminate again these values to revive them with a modern approach by means of the scientific methods without estranging from regional and local features of the areas and to process and spread them over. Originating from these opinions and ideas. Izmir Folk Dances Youth Club have appointed its studies at this direction with the support and power taken from the Turkish nation itself and is currently realizing the activities with the collaboration of young people of our country who are the assurance of our future by established a bridge extending between the past and the future. Our club which makes great efforts for promoting and introducing the Turkish folk culture both inside and out side the country took up all the cultural values in the scientific environments and also took the necessary preventive measures to abstain from the degeneration of these cultural elements and acts on all of the already known areas of the Turkish folklore. Izmir Youth Club continues its activities with the specialist experienced instructor staff on the subject in order to teach the young people the folk dances having different characteristic structures of our unique country in the most accurate and most authentic manners and to let this valuable treasury coming from the past to the present time live forever and to make it widespread.
